2019 – Our Time to Step Forward

As I mentioned last week, 2018 was one of our most exciting and rewarding years in HL Group history.  2019 has even greater potential for us – it will be the “Year of Execution”.  We will be harvesting the rewards of all of the hard work and preparation from 2018.

Our Assets

Our collective team of employees, partners and friends has set us up to have a tremendous year in 2019.  As we launch into the New Year, we have great assets on our side:

  • mobilePLUS – The strongest packaged solution (software, installation ease, training, documentation, etc.) that I have ever been a part of preparing for the market
  • A partner channel built around quality & made up of proven organizations that provide strategic market contributions versus only distribution
  • Updated marketing programs to focus and grow key markets in a manner that supports our new internal and partner sales models
  • A core value that business is personal – and our commitment that every prospect and customer feels that level of relationship when working with us

Our Plan

The plan for 2019 is in place and all that is needed to get it underway.  If we stay strong, focused and efficient, then we should produce the level of revenue and success we’re forecasting, right?

There is one small problem with this approach.  Plans are built it on what we know, what we think we know and what we expect in the future.  The flaw here is that what is expected doesn’t always pan out.

Things happen.  The solution may have some bugs. Marketing activities might not deliver expected results.  Some partnerships may not meet expectations and some employees may fall short.

Our Challenge

The challenge will be accepting the issues, communicating them with the effected party and looking for resolution.  And to also be continuously reviewing and updating the plan with consideration of these events – and as other new information is available.  My personal history is that when approached in this manner, you improve and grow.

As I said, this is the “Year of Execution”.  We will be following our “living” plan as our roadmap.  I look forward to providing updates though out the year on our progress and success.
